Koala Ride is a green mobility and rewards platform that allows users to:

• Track cycling activities using GPS technology
• Earn virtual rewards (gems) based on distance traveled
• Redeem gems for discounts and offers at partner vendors
• Access AI-powered coaching and personalized recommendations
• View environmental impact metrics

3. User Accounts

Account Creation

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary.

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Gems and Rewards System

Earning Gems

Users earn gems by completing verified cycling activities. The gem earning rate may vary based on user level and other factors determined by Koala Ride.

Redeeming Gems

Gems can be redeemed for offers at partner vendors. Redemption terms and conditions may vary by vendor.

No Monetary Value

Gems have no cash value and cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged for money. Gems are non-refundable and may expire according to our policies.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Manipulate or falsify ride data to earn gems fraudulently
• Use the Service in any way that violates laws or regulations
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Create multiple accounts to gain unfair advantages
• Use automated systems or bots to interact with the Service
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users

6. Location Data

The Service uses GPS technology to track your rides. By using ride tracking features, you consent to the collection and use of location data as described in our Privacy Policy. You may disable location services at any time through your device settings, though this will limit functionality.

7. Vendor Partnerships

Koala Ride partners with local vendors to provide offers and discounts. We are not responsible for vendor products, services, or the fulfillment of offers. Disputes with vendors should be resolved directly with the vendor.

8. AI Features

Our AI coaching and analysis features provide recommendations based on your activity data. These recommendations are for informational purposes only and should not replace professional medical or fitness advice. Always consult with qualified professionals before making health decisions.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by Koala Ride and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any content without our permission.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Location tracking will be 100% accurate
• All vendor offers will be available or honored
• Your data will be immune from loss or corruption

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Koala Ride shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to injuries sustained while cycling.

12. Safety Disclaimer

Cycling carries inherent risks. You are solely responsible for your safety while using the Service. Always follow traffic laws, wear appropriate safety equipment, and use the app responsibly. Do not interact with the app while actively cycling.

13. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time with or without notice. We may also modify gem earning rates, offer availability, and other features.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
